FineSoccer Kids 30

Welcome to the FineSoccer Kids Newsletter. Today's subject deals with being lucky.

How many times have you played a game and walked off the field thinking that the other team was lucky? In most cases, what they really were was GOL. GOL stands for:

Good
Organized
Lucky

In most cases, the lucky teams are the ones that are well trained and are organized. It's not necessarily luck when you see a person who just seems to be in the right spot at the right time. It's more likely to be proper organization. It's not necessarily luck when the person who is in the right place at the right time is able to finish the hard shot; it's hours and hours or practice

The teams and players that rely upon luck to win games are unusually unsuccessful. The teams and players who rely upon GOL to win games are typically very successful. Practice so that you are GOOD, know where to be and when to be there so that you are ORGANIZED and you will find yourself being much more LUCKY.

There is a story about an older golfer who made a shot from 160 yards out. When someone told him that he was lucky to make that shot his reply was that the more he practices that shot, the luckier he seems to get. He wasn't just lucky, he was GOL.

Go out and work hard and become GOL and see who much more successful you become and also how much more fun the game tends to be
