FineSoccer Drill 53 continued

The last step in this progression is to allow the player in line C to play the ball in and then support the pass.  The target player has the option of either finding the supporting player or turning and shooting.  All of a sudden, this becomes a great drill for both offensive and defensive communication.  The key here is to make the offense go at speed and NOT let them slow the ball down and turn it into a slow paced 2 v 1 competition.  See diagram below to see how this is set up
